The Association of Colorado State Patrol Professionals needs your help!
Two of our retired troopers lost their homes in the recent Wetmore fire from October 23rd. Richard Breece and Michael (Mike) Halpin worked out of the Canon City patrol office until their retirements in 2006. Richard and Mike not only worked together in the Canon City office but they were neighbors living within a couple of miles of each other.
In the recent Wetmore fire, both Richard and Mike lost their homes, vehicles, personal property and even a family pet. Both are currently staying with family and many of you have already reached out with offers of assistance. Although both had insurance to cover their homes and belongings, and both are physically okay, they will need financial assistance to just get through the next few months while they rebuild their lives.
The Association of Colorado State Patrol Professionals is collecting monetary donations on behalf of Richard and Mike through November 30, 2012. Donations are not tax deductible as they are pass through funds. Monetary donations will be collected and divided between Richard and Mike. Please send your monetary donations or call with credit card info (Visa or MasterCard) to:
